Object Beirut

Cities is a series of micro-architectures created by designer Carlo Massoud. Inspired by his travels around the world, each piece is a reinterpretation of a global landmark – a structure of significant historical, architectural or cultural importance. This piece is inspired by the Parliament Building in Beirut, Lebanon. Designed by Mardiros Altounian, the building combines the typical design of Beaux-Arts architecture with elements derived from the local architectural tradition. A striking sculpture that can also serve as a small storage container. The artist’s creativity is brought to life by master craftsmen in our woodworking and carving workshop.
